Published prior to the release of the film, The Blair Witch Project, this comic book was a part of the massive marketing strategy for the film. It attempted to deliver "true" back story for the film, as adapted from the non-existent Wood Witch Said mini-comic and was told as "history" rather than fiction. Along with various websites and other multimedia events, this comic book was, in reality, advertising for the then-upcoming film.
